10/2/2023 0 Comments Big boy sanding blocksCurved sanding can be completed on the included cast wing, that simply quick connects to the motor end, allowing inside curves to be completed with ease. A quick action release under the main cast iron table allows for fast and efficient switching between the two modes. The belt can be used in the vertical (as shown) or in the horizontal position, against the supplied sub-fence. They’re both a lot of trouble, both a little costly (anywhere from $20 to $30 for supplies), and both get the job done about 75%.Finish faster with this Big Boy! The Carbatec wide belt 6" (150mm), oscillating edge sander is just the ticket for production shop, clubs, schools or your home workshop. (You can kindly pretend not to notice if you see them in person.) □Īfter all this work CTRL+Z’ing my cabinets, I’d say that stripping and sanding are equally effective/unpleasant in my mind. Still, a close inspection will reveal a less than perfect surface on some of the doors. I used a wire brush to try to get as much of it off as possible. The paint combined with the stripping gel created a mushy concoction that wanted to badly to settle into all the grooves. The trouble was with the decorative panels carved into the doors. It worked really quickly and allowed my to easily scrape the paint off of the flat surfaces. Over the course of a few hours, I was able to strip the paint + primer off of the cabinet doors and a few areas of the cabinets that I had not sanded. □ No really, this stuff will make your brain melt, so I made sure to wear proper protection! Nothing like a litte highly toxic chemical solvent to make you feel warm and fuzzy. Meanwhile, a combination of frustration and incredulous fascination led me to explore just how much damage paint removal I could do with my fingernails… I didn’t even have any sanding discs (or more likely, just couldn’t find them in our garage o’boxes ), so I needed to make another run to the hardware store. Now, there are many ways to deal with unwanted paint layers, but my personal stash of paint removing implements included… an orbital sander. (Did I mention I had no clue I was painting over WAX?) And let’s be honest, in order to properly prepare a surface, you have to first understand WHAT your surface is. But, I’ll chalk it up as a learning experience and a reminder never to skip the all-important step of SURFACE PREPARATION. Good thing I’m maintaining a positive attitude, because this was by far the worst part of the project… spending days and dollars undoing work that had already taken several days and several dollars, just to get back to where I started. This paint disaster is making me a better, more punctilious painter. Now that I have gone down the wrong path with my painting project, I have got to put in just as much time and effort to “CTRL+Z” what I’ve done so far. On the downside, it probably helps reinforce my natural propensity to paint first, apologize later. Side note: as a graphic designer, I can throw a whole bunch of stuff together on the computer and quickly swap out colors and images, move things around, mess things up, and be protected by the all-powerful CTRL+Z… the “UNDO” button! Nothing gets lost, nothing gets ruined, and if I mess it up, this magical feature always keeps me two keys away from utter design destruction. So, after learning that the Valspar paint + primer product just was not working, I had to go back to the drawing board. Unfortunately that meant stripping, scraping, sanding, and otherwise removing said paint + primer by any means possible.

They can be mounted to different containers as needed and, since volumes are separate from the image, they do not increase the image size. Volumes are stored on the host and independent of any container or image. Think of volumes as an external hard drive if the internal hard drive is erased, the external hard drive still retain its own data. This guide discusses using Docker volumes as a way to store persistent data. To overcome this, Docker volumes and bind mounts can be used. You can also share data between the host machine and docker container.Files (and other data) stored within a Docker container does not persist if the container is deleted. Let’s launch another container with the same data volumes and check available files on /data directory. After that launch new instance using the same data volume and try to access the files created under /data directory. Also, you remote this using docker remove command. Now use /data directory to create any number of files and directories on /]# cd /]# echo "Hello Docker" > file.txt This will provide you shell access to newly created container. $ docker run -it -volumes-from data_container centos /bin/bash Now create your application container with –volumes-from flag. The container will stop immediately due to no service. The above command will launch a container with name “data_container” having data volume at /data. $ docker create -v /data -name data_container centos When you write data to your containers file system, it will be originally written to a storage container. You can use storage of these containers to your containers. The Docker data volume container is same as other containers, but they just used for storage only. Using share data between the host and the Docker container. Here you will find two way of managing data volumes on Docker containers. I think that there hasn't been an opportunity or a hunger until now to actually hear these stories in a way that challenges our ideas of what the rock scene was. Post #MeToo, Cunningham says the world is hopefully finally ready to listen: "Culturally, we're all thinking in a different way. Image: Look Away director Sophie Cunningham says she hopes the documentary can play a part in starting to instigate change. It's actually not about the rock stars at all, it's about these women and it's about them being heard - so that people don't just make the assumptions that I think a lot of people make about some of these women." I don't think it's a case of wanting to get their own back or tearing anyone down. For many of them, it's a personal reckoning. "All of the women in the film are incredible women in the sense they're forgiving and they aren't 'out to get' these rock stars. You don't want to take away from but you have to recognise that other things were at play. looks at an era I think we all feel very fondly towards, but we need to look at it in a different way. "I spoke to so many music industry insiders who made it quite clear that nothing has changed. "Although we are focusing on a certain era in this film, the music industry is still functioning in a very, very similar way," she says. Speaking out like this is not necessarily about seeking justice in the legal sense, says Cunningham, but having a voice - and trying to instigate change. Jackie Fuchs, bassist with The Runaways - who was known as Jackie Fox at the time - also shares her story, accusing Fowley, the band's manager, of rape, and detailing how people ignored it at the time. Sheila Kennedy is another woman featured in the documentary, speaking about an experience with Axl Rose in the late 1980s. It's not a different era, it's just that we look at it differently." But I think it's clear from the women who've spoken out that their experiences as girls impacted them in the same way that they would if it happened to now. "It's very, very easy to think 'It was different then, it was hedonistic, the world was a different place'. There were power structures that enabled them as long as they were selling records and as long as they were making money for the big record companies, I think there was a general understanding could pretty much get away with anything and also it could all just be written up as an excess of the time. "Musicians were these godlike creatures, especially at that time. "I think a lot of the times the artists themselves have written about their escapades with their girlfriends or what they got up to during this era and you never really hear from the women," says Cunningham. But perhaps more shocking is that for years, this kind of behaviour wasn't at all shocking. Through the lens of 2021, laid out in black and white, it all seems pretty shocking. Before they were finished, I went into cardiac arrest. He was born without a pulse and quickly taken by the NICU team for resuscitation and prompt cooling treatment, the protocol for babies who have been deprived of oxygen during birth. My son, Henry, was delivered within minutes. As the C section began, I was poorly responsive and cyanotic. A quick decision was made to take me for an emergency cesarean. At the same time, my son’s heart rate had dropped to the 60s. I was experiencing respiratory failure, and my oxygen levels were low enough to send me in and out of consciousness. I proceeded to lose consciousness temporarily. At 7:48 am the next morning, I told the nurse and my husband that I was nauseous and felt like I was going to faint. We went to the hospital at 7:30 pm, and I received three doses of a medicine called Cytotec. Legal Help for Cytotec Drug Injury Victims That said, due to the pervasive contra-indicated use of the drug, reports continued to surface, which included indications of side effects including, but not limited to amniotic fluid embolism, which is the fifth leading cause of maternal death. The original insert to the label of cytotec carried an explicit warning: “DO NOT use Cytotec if: you are allergic to any ingredients in Cytotec or to similar medicines (prostaglandins) you are pregnant ” and, it went on further to state that, patients should “ell their doctor or pharmacist if … you are planning to become pregnant or are breast-feeding.” However, despite such an emphatic initial warning, later uses of cytotec included labor induction. This is because cytotec, unlike other labor inducing drugs, such as oxytocin, affects the patients cervix. Its use in inducing labor, though controversial, is attractive to physicians with patients who have yet to experience dilation of their cervix. When used to induce labor, cytotec functions by forcing the uterus of the patient to contract, while simultaneously causing the cervix of the patient to “ripen” or thin. That process thereby reduces the risk of ulceration. When used to prevent NSAID induced ulcers, cytotec functions by affecting gastric parietal cells, and in doing so, inhibits secretion of gastric acid, which sets in to motion a process that, in effect, reduces activity on the apical surface of those cells. How does Cytotec WorkĬytotec, because it has different uses, works in different ways, depending upon the intended use. Indeed, the use of cytotec in induction of labor (or for missed miscarriage) has been pointed to as the cause of injuries including, uterine rupture, hemorrhaging, exsanguinations, and, even death. Additionally, it is used to induce labor however, its use in this manner is considered controversial at best. Cytotec (misoprostol) is a prescription drug manufactured by Searle, which has many indicated uses, including, to addressing gastric ulcers in patients taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (“NSAIDs”). 9/28/2023 0 Comments Agent a agent b ai transcriptAs such, targeting of Tat protein (and/or cellular cofactors) provide an interesting perspective for therapeutic intervention in the HIV replicative cycle and may afford lifetime control of the HIV infection. The Tat‐TAR‐dependent phosphorylation of RNA polymerase II plays an important role in transcriptional elongation as well as in other post‐transcriptional events. The complex of Tat with p‐TEFb then binds the loop structures of TAR RNA thereby positioning CDK9 to phosphorylate the cellular RNA polymerase II. And theres something about the nature of abstraction itself that is. Following chromatin remodeling of the viral promoter region, transcription is initiated and leads to the formation of the TAR element. These transcripts can be shared with other team members and agents for faster onboarding and training them on right. particularly oncoming innovation in artificial intelligence and how that. Upon reactivation of HIV‐1 from latency, HDACs are displaced in response to the recruitment of histone acetyltransferases (HATs) by NF‐κB or the viral transcriptional activator Tat and result in multiple acetylation events. In latently infected resting CD4 + T cells HIV‐1 transcription seems to be repressed by deacetylation events mediated by histone deacetylases (HDACs). The regulation of transcription of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a complex event that requires the cooperative action of both viral and cellular components. 9/28/2023 0 Comments Umich dropboxYou can choose which files to make online-only or let automatic Smart Sync choose for you.Smart Sync is a feature of the Dropbox desktop app that allows you to make files online-only so you can save hard drive space on your computer. This means that the files are ‘online-only.’ You can interact with these files as normal, but they take up no space on your computer. NVIDIA has introduced new path-traced visual effects, has improved texturing, and has made dozens of other changes and improvements, resulting in an experience that rivals games created today, and pushes your RTX hardware to the limit. Quake II RTX builds on the work of Christoph Schied and the team at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, who added ray tracing to Quake II to create Q2VKPT (in turn building upon the Q2PRO code base). Only then will the fate of humanity be known. Now you must fight your way through heavily fortified military installations, lower the city’s defenses and shut down the enemy’s war machine. It does not store any personal data.Shortly after landing on an alien surface, you learn that hundreds of your men have been reduced to just a few. Quake II RTX available on Steam includes first three episodes from the original Quake II shareware edition. Most importantly, your GPU must support ray tracing rendering technique. At the minimum, it needs 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, intel Core i3 3220, and Windows 7 64-bit. While the original Quake II from 1997 had very minimal system requirements, Quake II RTX needs a really powerful gaming PC. Each level takes you to a different military installation and you have to make your way out while destroying their defenses. In the process, you meet enemy’s fierce force and deadly warriors. You have to enter the enemy’s military installations one-by-one and take down their defenses. Your side has been reduced to only a few by the enemy and now the fate of the surviving human race depends on you. Just like the original Quake II from 1997, it starts with the protagonist landing on an alien planet. Apart from the ray tracing, everything else stays the same – the gameplay, the storyline, the weapons and the characters Now the same game has been reprogrammed to include the support of ray tracing rendering by NVIDIA. Quake II was originally released by id software in 1997 in association with Hyperion and Activision. Ray tracing feature is not available in all the graphics processors (GPU) so you have to first get a ray tracing enabled GPU for your PC and only then you will be able to enjoy the new improved Quake II RTX. Because of the Ray Tracing, it is being called Quake II RTX. It still uses the old graphics, nothing much is changed there – but through the use of ray tracing they appear much better. Using the ray tracing rendering, NVIDIA has made the original Quake II graphics look much better. The cult classic game Quake II is back, but this time with improved graphics. |
